The ever classical Chinoiserie design elements originating from the 18th century juxtaposed with modern digital techniques, and even a splash of Kiwiana. Four grand peacocks exuberantly decorated in a enchanting garden scene. Surrounded by curious fantails, a naughty Kea and lush foliage and fruits.
The Artist:
H.O.M
Reclusive Nelson based artist H.O.M has done it again. This time with her Peacock Kiwiana Chinoiserie design. Featuring traditional painterly techniques with an underlying modern digital theme. This wallcovering is probably one of the best examples we have seen that feature an almost grand master oil painting textured layer effect with pixilalization and digital mosaicing.
The paper:
This mural is made from high quality 147GSM, uncoated, non-woven paper, sourced from certifiably sustainable forests.
