The Story: The Kakariki (pronounced Ka-ka-riki) flies through Nikau palms and kawakawa trees, crying ‘ki-ki-ki’. They land among the Manuka blossoms to bring colour and legend to New Zealand forests. It’s feathers are so bold that it inspired the Maori word for the Green (karariki). While ancient tales say it’s red crest came from the blood of a mythological hero that spilt when he fell from the heavens.
The paper: Each roll is 10.05 metre (L) x 52cm (W), made from high quality 147GSM, uncoated, non-woven paper, sourced from certifiably sustainable forests.
